Interesting photo shoot
Yesterday I had the privilege of doing a photo shoot at a local pharmaceutical industry.
I was able to get there through my college. We are currently developing some courses for that company and I went there to take some pictures we can use on the courses.
It was a great experience to be able to go in there and actually see how pills are made. I thought it was really cool that I had to wear a white gown and something to cover my head. I had to wear it inside the facility, specially in the restricted areas.
The part that impressed me the most was when I was taken through a sealed area, which is where the heavy machinery is at. I don’t really remember much the machine names, but I do remember taking some pictures of the “mixer.” I’m not sure what it does, but I think it mixes stuff.
As you walk through the halls you can see part of the warehouse where all the pills are kept in boxes. Lots of boxes. There were people there driving fork lifts, and others carrying the boxes.
There are so many different areas in there that you can easily get lost. The place is huge. Though, I didn’t really get to see the entire place because of time restrictions.
Anyway, the only thing that really bugged me about the tour was that everything was very rushed. I didn’t really get much time to get creative with the pics I was taking, but after all I can’t complain.
Well, I’m really happy that I was able to take some pics at such an unusual place. It was really something.
